monetary funds for childcare costs.
Be grateful for information from only those who hae experienced this in concern of childcare, I know they do help, just confused. I’ll be studying 60 credits in Law, probably doing another 60 credit as well.
UK response only.
Thanks!
Well yes you can certainly get Financial Aid if you earn below a certain salary and/or are on benefits. Also, they do hardship funds if things are really dire. When applying for the course, just tick the box that says whether or not you wish to apply for Financial Aid.
Although, bear in mind I have never received help specifically for childcare, but it maybe worth phoning your regional advisers who are very helpful and thorough and asking them.
Good Luck!!
I am finishing my last year in my Gymnasium and next year I am hoping to go to a university. To be perfectly honest, I am not sure what is best for me. I really have a wide range of interests, so please give me your best suggestions!

i dont know if i want to become a lawyer or a paediatrician (child doctor) when i go to university, i am in year 10 (im 15) and i need to decide what subjects to take so if you know what subjects will help, please add them.
Personally I think that they both have similarities in terms of the challenging nature of the courses and the workloads, and in the initial phases, you follow the same course of study to get into either one of the grad schools (ie. bachelor’s, admission exam etc.)
I will tell you that law school is a quicker program than med school (law school runs about 7 years once you factor in your Bachelor’s, med school is 8 years plus an additional 4 years of internship/residency). This in turn means that you will pay extra for those extra years of med school. Having said that, Doctors typically earn better salaries than lawyers in the long run.
One of the things I’ve considered when I dabbled with choosing either law or med school, was the career options afterward. Lawyers work hectic hours, don’t get me wrong, but I felt that doctors have to work crazy overnight hours that would be stiffer and even more stressful. In the long run, I want to start a family, and I feel a law career better allowed me to do so. You really need to decide what you think will best suit you.
In terms of courses to take; my best advice to you is to choose courses that interest you so that you perform as best as possible to get the best grades possible. (You’ll need excellent grades no matter which career path you choose). Also, look into the prerequisites you’ll need to get into the college program you want.
Good luck and best regards
I will be starting year 11 in September and I would like to know everything about how to go to university in USA. Ideally I would like to go to an Ivy league university, and I would like to know about the application system for colleges like Harvard, Princeton, Yale, MIT etc. What exams would I need to take? How should I prepare for these exams? Where can I find tutors etc. What other things will I have to do? I live in the West Midlands, and would like to study Economics. I realise that for the first two years in an American university you do not need to choose a subject? Please help, and many thanks.
long as you got your GSCEs you should be ok, the standard over there isn’t as high as here
.
The math program at my high school only leads trig/precal as its highest. Will college calculus be a struggle for me without high school calculus?
I want to be a gastroenterologist! ^-^
Most of the students I ever had fell apart on basic Algebra and/or trig.
College Calculus isn’t any kind of a ’struggle’ as long as you stay on top of it. And there are all kinds of websites now which have tutoring programs and example problems.
As a gastroenterologist you probably won’t even use much Calculus. Most of it will be used in your biochemistry and biology courses in college.
Med School is the one you need to worry about ?

EDIT: Hehehe. Yeah, pretty much exactly what Steiner1 said.
Dalhousie University, November 03, 2008 - National Chronic Pain Management ociation Conference. Rick Simpson was invited to speak about the miracles of hemp medicine to the Chronic Pain groups, and offer information about nature’s most safest and most medicinal plant… hemp/marijuana.
Rick later learned that several pharmacuetical companies fund these conferences for the Chronic Pain groups, and as a result of Rick’s speech on November 3, 2008, the group that invited him lost several thousand dollars in funding.
