Both schools are excellent. You will be lucky if those are your two choices. Visit both schools. Hampton is not as urban as Howard and is near the beach, but Howard has the advantage of being located in DC.

What is the difference between ‘postal address’ and ‘home address’? My official address(the one that is written on my ID card) is in Romania but I live in the UK now and if the university wants to send me something I want it to be sent to my UK address because that is where I live. So what do I write at postal address: the UK one or the Romania one? And what do I write at home address: the UK one or the Romania one?

I dont really like California, so I want to leave the state for university but is it weird to go to a public university in another state? (Im thinking of a public university in another state as like as a backup…) I only moved to California 3 years ago though…Im actually English.

Absolutely not. I go to Michigan and we have tons of international students even, PLENTY of out of state kids. Bear in mind, though, that as an out of stater you could pay as much as double or triple the tuition of in-state students. It may be wise to still consider some California schools or maybe some out of state privates (who sometimes offer better financial aid packages.)

i still have several years before i can enlist and i want to be the best that i can, so i was thinking about learning things like martial arts, multiple languages(any in particular that would help?), navigation, etc.
Are there any other things that would help me excel in training?

the biggest part of the selection process is land navigation. physical fitness is also highly important as well as survival skills. dont worry about learning another language because if you pass selection then during phase II they teach you the language you need to know for where you will be operating. if you enlist directly into the special forces (18X) then theirs a good chance you wont pass selection. i recommend you enlist in the infantry and see if you like it before trying out.

UT Austin is more well known than TAMU, at least nationally. Although that may be because of the football team more so than academics. I would think Austin would be a more exciting town to live in than College Station, but being that I’ve never been to College Station, I’m not really sure on that.

The best way to get good answers on these questions is to visit both of these schools and talk to current students.

Does anyone knows anything about this University?

I heard they provide international scholarship, but how to apply there? as I look on it’s home page, i can only find the spring-program scholarship, I want to go to study there. if there’s such a chance, could I get that chance to be an American citizen?

This is my first time to ever look for international scholarship online, so please forgive me.

Once you apply and are accepted, then you will meet with (or have a phone interview) with someone from financial aid who will help you out as far as money goes. Good luck! It’s a long process and it looks like you have to meet a lot of requirements to get it… but it is a GREAT school… especially if you plan on going into medicine! (I went to it’s rival, Brigham Young University, which is an hour south of Salt Lake City… and my sister went to the University of Utah)

I am one of those who took forever to decide College was the route i need to take. I am now 25 (26 in January) and it has always been my dream to attend Howard University. I messed in college before but now I am maintaining a B average pushing hard to get an A average. Once I obtain my Associates, I would like to earn my bachelors and Masters at Howard. What do i need to do to get accepted? Do i have a chance?

Make sure that your credits get accepted at Howard so you don’t have to take classes that you already took over again. Other than that, good luck! I hope you get accepted to Howard! I know someone who went to college there!
