I have tried setting my Seattle University email to my iPhone but it always has a reason for it to not work.. I know little about how to use it so if you could help me that would be great!! I know there are something you need under the incoming and outgoing but I don’t know what to use. Please Help!!
From what I can find, you will need to enter the following information in your e-mail setup:
Set mail server type to: IMAP
Set outgoing server (SMTP) to : owa.seattleu.edu
Set incoming server (IMAP) to : owa.seattleu.edu
You will need your username, which is the first part of your email address, ie [username]@seattleu.edu, and you will need your password.
That should get it going. If not, there may be some more setting you need to add, such as port number. Here is a web site that shows all settings: http://www.law.seattleu.edu/Office_and_Administration/Technology/Help_Desk/Configuring_E-mail.xml
The example the site shows is for MS Outlook, but the setting are all the same no mater what email client you use. There is a possibility that Seattle U’s mail system will not work with the iPhone mail client, but you should check will someone in the computer department or administration if those settings don’t work just to be sure.
Im in grade 12 high school and I desperately need info. But I cant always go to the website
Some student from my school do get stuff in their emails because they gave thier info to the spokesperson that came to our school and I was sick that day.
I doubt that they can send you the info since only students with university account are added to the mailing list. You can call the office of students affairs and ask.
But if you can check your email, how come you can’t just check the website?
I work for a public University and we are making a fundraising video to send via email to our alumni (less than 9,000 people). As we are picking out music to play in the background of the video, can we just use any MP3 or do we need to be careful of copyright infringement. I’m not sure about the usage laws. Thank you!
You can use the "fair use" doctrine of copyright law. Depending on how it’s interpreted, some people say 3 seconds, others say 10 seconds, some go so far as 30 seconds of a copyrighted song, but I’ve never seen anyone go more than 30 seconds for a "fair use" opinion.
It is often easier (and cheaper) to write a letter to the published explaining what you are going to do with the song. If you are a non-profit (a public university is), they will often allow you to use it free of charge or for a nominal fee. They may let you use it for free provided you put a note in the credits that says Song by Artist Used with permission in the credits of your video.
How can i apply to Ethiopian University to study Public Health(undergraduate)?
All email addresses of the Addis Abeba University are listed in the following weblink

Good Luck J
I’m doing an assignment for my planning class and I can’t connect to their contact information. Can somebody please go to the UFV website ( www.ufv.ca ) and find it for me? Thankyou very much :)?
on the web, it lists address of 33844 King Road Abbortsford, BC V2S 7M8. no fax number given.
Because deleting it would be rather rude lol.
It depends on the school. There are several options. Some schools convert it to an alumni email address and they usually tack "alumni" into the domain somewhere. Others keep it for a certain amount of time so you have a transition period and then they delete it. Other schools keep it as a forwarding address so you don’t have access to their mail system but can still get mail at that address, it just gets forwarded to the permanent address you provide them with. However, I went to a small private college for a while, and this college guarantees your student email address for life. Even though I transferred away from the school, I still have access to that email account on their mail system and can use the email address as if I never left. I still get school-wide emails, too.
It depends mostly on the size of the student body and the school’s resources. A smaller school can maintain email addresses for everyone who comes through the college or university if there are only about 1000 students per graduating class. However, at larger schools, with like 15,000 students graduating and 15,000 new freshmen every year, it’s probably easier for the technology department to get the emails of former students out of the system and off their servers. Plus, name-based email address versus computer generated ones will require more turnover. Some colleges have, for example, the first two letters of your last name then the last four numbers of your social security number, so Mike Goldberg whose SSN is 123 45 6789 would be go6789@college.edu, and that would be really specific to him. However, there might be 20 people that could be MGoldberg@college.edu. At a small school, it’s less likely for this to happen, so they could just add a 1 or 2 or a grad year onto the end of a duplicate, versus at a big school it might get up to MGoldberg378 because there were 377 before him. It’s easier just to delete the old ones and start fresh.
Hi, I’m not so good with the nitty gritty aspects of computing and I’d like to add my Boston University email account to my iphone. I just don’t know what to put for the Incoming/outgoing mail servers. Thanks

Like from American ones to English Email address’ do you think the "Degree Offer" is a fake scam? Is it to be trusted as a real degree I mean?
erm, if it takes 3 years to complete, then yes chances are its real, but these are offering you the ability to buy your degree rather than earn it.
if you want to do a degree, go to a university or open university and study there, its a massive mail-shot, doubt theyve checked your GCSE/alevels to see if your suitable.
