I am one of those who took forever to decide College was the route i need to take. I am now 25 (26 in January) and it has always been my dream to attend Howard University. I messed in college before but now I am maintaining a B average pushing hard to get an A average. Once I obtain my Associates, I would like to earn my bachelors and Masters at Howard. What do i need to do to get accepted? Do i have a chance?
Make sure that your credits get accepted at Howard so you don’t have to take classes that you already took over again. Other than that, good luck! I hope you get accepted to Howard! I know someone who went to college there!
I was planning on applying to Howard University for college seeing as they supply free tuition for Girl Scouts who have completed their Gold Award, like I have. Now, here’s my question: Do they accept any other races other than African American? I am Caucasian, and I do not know if I am eligible to be accepted. Please answer.
No college can reject a student simply because they are of another race. If you present yourself as a worthy applicant and demonstrate that you are eager to continue your studies, you should be accepted. "Historically Black" colleges are schools that were originally designated for African Americans back when schools where segregated. Now they hold the "Historically Black" title, but there’s no reason why they wouldn’t accept a worthy Caucasian student.
Good luck!

Will a SAT score of a 1300 get you into Howard University if you have an unweighted GPA of 3.1 and 4 extra curricular activities?
Go to www.mychances.net It will tell you in a percentage chance (50%, 90%, or whatever percent your chances really are). It’s free and it has Howard University in the data base, so I’d check it out.
I’ve been looking in to going to Howard. My mom has been telling me about it but I don’t wanna go cause i don’t much about it.
A friend’s daughter graduated from Howard and loved her whole experience there — loved the school, loved the people there, loved being in Washington. You can learn more about the school by visiting their website or checking one of the many college guidebooks on good universities.

I am really considering this school so i would just like some opinions of people who attend or graduated from there. Can you tell me what you did to get in and your experience
I graduated from Howard University and I had a great experience. For me personally it’s the top of all HBCUs in the country. Howard has a great rep and also a strong alumni presence out of any HBCU. The othe HBCUs I have alot of respect for is Spelman and Morehouse Colleges. Hampton University is located in Virgina, it’s known as the school by the sea…THAT’S about it !!! When I was Howard, I knew 3 people that transferred from Hampton to Howard because they didn’t feel academically challenged and also bored. The top job recruiters come to Howard, Spelman & Morehouse. I recommend you consider Howard, there’s no place like it. Remember one thing about Howard, you have the main undergraduate campus, then the law school, the med school (along with Howard University Hospital), the dental school. We also have the largest endowment out of any HBCU. I had a great time at Howard, then I went to graduate school at Cornell University.
Good Luck on your choice !!
Probably not much less than any other top notch school….When it comes to dentistry what really matters is where you open your clinic after your residency.
Promoting his new book, the 50th Law..50 Cent engages in a discussion about rappers who use rhymes that they’ve never lived out in real life, mentions Weezy. Props to lebronjoel23
