  • what are my chances of getting into VCU, Virginia Commonwealth University with a 2.7 and a 1450 sat?

Posted by admin on January 30th, 2010 and filed under university of | 3 Comments »

I applied to vcu with a 2.6 gpa and a 2.77 weighted. i am currently a senior in high school waiting for the letter of acceptance or rejection. its been 7 weeks and i still havent heard a thing.

They could be still reviewing your application. You have a good chance of getting in. But know that your essay and what you told them about yourself helps them decide if they want someone like you attending there school. I got wait-listed but then accepted and they didn’t tell me until the middle of the summer after i had already accepted another school so just wait a few more weeks and they should have a letter to you by then, i hope you filled out for other schools for back-ups though….Good Luck and i hope you get in.

How good of a university is the University of Illinois at Chicago, Is it a somewhat respectable University?

Posted by admin on January 27th, 2010 and filed under university of | 2 Comments »

Is it a good for premed and medical school

I heard it’s good. The name of the university only matters if you go to U of Chicago, Northwestern, Harvard or any Ivy League school. It’s easy to get into UIC but their classes are tough (from what I have heard).
I’m going there next year (Biology major) and I will be taking a lot of classes that pre-med students are taking since I need them for the program that I am applying.

What is the chance of someone getting into North Carolina State University?

Posted by admin on January 23rd, 2010 and filed under university of | 1 Comment »

If they have 1300 sat, 3.0 average , one year of student council, volunteer of two hours no record got letter from alumni for people to people, lead america

It will be tought because the average student at NC State makes about a 1600 SAT, & had a high schoolGPA of over 3.7. Although they accept almost 60% of applicants, it will be tougher to get in because of the low GPA & SAT scores in comparison to what NC State averages

Is University of Phoenix a good online school?

Posted by admin on January 21st, 2010 and filed under university of | 5 Comments »

I plan on starting college in 2009 to get a degree in business. I’m thinking about attending University of Phoenix online. Is this a good online school? I’m still deciding between University of Phoenix online and Liberty University online. Which school is better University of Phoenix or Liberty University?

There are tons of online programs. I personally attended American Intercontinental Univ. and Capella University, and have taught for various online schools including the University of Phoenix. All are accredited and solid programs. Online courses tend to vary in price, so we could say they are more expensive, but that is relative. Of course they are more expensive than a community college, but less expensive than Harvard. The price range varies.

The key is to find a program that is fully accredited. Is it worth it? YES. My career has boomed since my MBA at nearly 5 years ago. I am close to finishing my PhD through distance education, and I am at the job that I want. I know I wouldn’t be here without the education. If you are looking at work in the U.S., then you need a school that is accredited and recognized by the Dept of Ed. I can give more info on that later. Always check accreditation at the accrediting body and not the school’s site.

You should market yourself and not the degree or university. There are many traditional universities offering degrees that can be earned through online methods. Distance Learning Alliance has a list of these traditional online schools. Look at that if you are truly concerned with the name of the school. Good luck on your search!

what is bad (or disadvantage)about the University of Ottawa in Canada?

Posted by admin on January 15th, 2010 and filed under university of | 2 Comments »

i am preparing for a presentation about the University of Ottawa.
what is bad about the UO?
(ie.what’s the weather like in Ottawa? Pleasant? or…?)

Also, what’s the admittance requirements for UO? ( i am an international student.)

Ottawa is okay… Winter is just like any other city in Canada…

    Nothing bad about Ottawa.

For international students you need to submit your grade 12 grades, SAT, other tests if you don’t speak English and also extra curricular activities…

Could I get a list of some good stables that are close to the University of Texas in Austin?

Posted by admin on January 11th, 2010 and filed under university of | 3 Comments »

Looking for a stable that is full care, indoor and outdoor arena, and that is well taken care of (like grassy green pastures, big enough stalls, and something that’s nice to drive up to and takes excellent care of the horses boarded there). Thank you for the help in advance!

Where do students who study at the University of Bristol live?

Posted by admin on January 2nd, 2010 and filed under university of | 1 Comment »

I am an international student looking to student looking to study at the U. Bristol in the UK. I know that it is uncommon for students past their 1st year to live in residence halls. Does this mean that they rent their own apartments? How much do these on average cost? And where are they located? Could somebody please clearly explain how housing here works. Thank you!
