i play two vatsity sports in which i start i am an active member in student council and future business leaders of America. i have a 3.3 gpa. i also wanna know if not needing any financial aide helps.
i wanna go to their real estate school.
sounds like you should make it no problem
I’ve heard the acceptance rate is like 90%, but I’m from Alabama and will have 41 credits by the time I want to transfer there in Fall 2010. I have a 3.6 gpa and a 20 on the ACT. I didn’t know if I had less of a chance since I’m out-of-state, or what. What are my chances?
I can nearly guarantee your acceptance with that phenomenal grade point average. I attended University of Missouri and was able to transfer to ASU with only a 3.0 GPA. Don’t worry about getting in; just be concerned with paying for it. Out of state is expensive. I went the financial aid route. After you have lived in the great state of Arizona for a year, apply for in-state tuition. They will look at things like having in-state employment & proving that you reside in AZ with proof you pay rent here. Good luck!
What is a short history of the University of Rochester?
It is about 300 miles from Rochester to NYC. Rochester is a small city.
i received a check today drawn on northern trust co. and my bank says the check is no good how do i find out about where this came from and what it is for ?
You got a check that you were not expecting and you tried to deposit it?!?!?! Really????
Did it come iwth a letter? If so, that should tell you all about it.
The owner of the check s typically printed on the check. So is the bank information. Call them.
Of course, if you got a check out of the blue and it was bad, then it is very likely it is a scam.
Malcolm X is right next to the west campus. Harold Washington College might be closer to the East campus of UIC.
I am considering pursuing PhD in Nursing from the University of Phoenix Online. Like many other online universities, the UOP also promise to help succeed its students (at least that is how their enrollment counselors sound). My apprehension lies within the fact that over the past several years, UOPs credibility has been under tight scrutiny and is it worth the effort, time and money?
I avoided University of Phoenix due to the poor reviews I read online about it and the practices of the school. Understand that many of the people rating and reviewing are motivated by bad experiences and you will likely find more negative reviews of something than positive but that in conjunction with the issues that school has had in the past made *ME* decide I didn’t want to be associated with it.
I would look at other schools offering programs online, if you have not already and see what works best for you. If you have already and are simply looking at ruling UOP out or not I can only wish you luck.
With the wide availability of online programs now I don’t think it is worth it to choose an institution that may evoke negative opinions from potential employers, rather one they aren’t familiar with is preferable in my opinion.
I would like to join a university with lots of students to make friends (I am new in california) , so if I know how many students university of south central los angeles has, it will help my decision.
thanks
It has a few hundred students
It is a specialized university for business.
So I applied, and I want to be a music major, but I play an instrument and sing, will they only allow me to do one, or both?
You can do both if you audition on both and pass your audition for both.
Or just the town in general. I live in Washington and am thinking of moving up there for school- either psychology, wildlife biology, or geology.
I’m used to Seattle, where the student body is very outspoken. Does Fairbanks have much of a college scene? How do you usually cope with the weather?
Thanks
Not sure what the last guys problem was…
But UAF has a much more diverse student population then a lot of places, both in age and in culture. And you will very much find that college town feel, along with the funky arts, political activism, and in general Fairbanks has a nice ‘live and let live’ vibe and a pretty eclectic group of locals.
Although dorms would not be my first choice for living, public transport in Fairbanks leaves a little (and by a little I mean a lot) to be desired. So if you want to live off campus you will want to be close enough to walk or winter bike (yes people bike all winter long, it take special gear and lights but its not uncommon) or have your own rig.
And if you bring a rig, budget in some extra cash to get it winterized when you get here, mostly they install the heaters you will need to plug in to keep your rig warm enough to start in the morning. This is all standard for people living here, and it should not freak you out, its just life up here, and dealing with the cold is just that: dealing so you handle it, just like everyone else, its that that.
AS for getting geared up and such, again I would not spend a lot until you actually get here, I find that stores in the lower 48 don;t really carry what we really need.
It is insanely beautiful, you can’t beat that! and lots of folks are into athletic outdoorsy lifestyles.
Not sure if that was helpful, but if you have specific questions you can email me.
Ive already googled it…
look in to there website..
still cannot find it.
can you help me guys?
