On Friday April 7. 2006 the Bowie State University Gospel Choir performed at the New Hope Christian Baptist Church. After a brief praise break, the choir meshed into “Lift Him Up.”
I get joy seeing … I get joy seeing all those young people praising the Lord. I danced a few time while watching this. I broke free and I pray for all those members in that church especially the young folk that God will come see about them. Minister James Lee Norman from NY NY Be Blessed. You probably never … You probably never opened your ears to other types of music out there. I can play any gospel song after listening to it once or twice. It is probably the easiest type of music to play besides blues. Try listening to Radiohead and listen to their new album called “In Rainbows”. You’ll know exactly what I mean after you listen to their songs.
Gospel music is … Gospel music is spirit music not sense music, now that I know Christ i enjoy the Gospel I used to find super boring because I found rhythms of life in the music inspired by God. Now my taste go along with it. Besides, that kind of christian music is not the only one there is, there are various styles. Try Joel Auge, DC Talk, Toby Mac, Daniel’s Widow, or google it, God is unlimited and wants to reach your heart, you’ll find what you like. Be blessed
