  • What factors influenced your decision to go to a specific university?

Posted by admin on January 5th, 2010 and filed under go to university |

I have been accepted in to 3 out of the 5 universities i chose, one of these was a back-up but the other 2 have proven to be a dilemma. The question i have is in your opinion what factors should be paramount in the decision over which university to go to? Any help would be greatly appreciated

The professors were actually the biggest push in my decision. They were really great and interested in what I was doing, they make plenty of time for me. E mail some of the department’s professors from each school, ask questions about the program and what research or whatever that professor is doing. You can tell a lot about them from how and how quickly they respond. It really depends on what field you are going into, but look into how active they are, the department and the professors. You want to see a good number of consistent publications and research.
