  • How do i get the sims 2 university expansion pack to run on my computer?

    I recently installed the sims 2 university expansion pack on my computer but every time the white box will pop up with the logo and then nothing…I have disk 1 inserted and i REALLY want to play this game! Please help me!

    Try this:
    Go to "My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2", there should be a file called Groups.cache; delete it. Don’t worry, it will not do any harm, the file will re-generate the next time you start the game.

      Do you have the deluxe version? You need that to play any expansion pack.

      try using an expansion pack you used before you installed university.

      thats what happen to me. i had the sims 2, bon voyage, open for buisness.

      then when i installed university that happend so i had to put it bon voyage and it played it

      The idea of uninstalling and reinstalling is good.But do you have a later expansion pack installed,if so you need to use that disk.

      this is the order of the expansion packs oldest to newest:
      University
      Nightlife
      Open for business
      Pets
      Seasons
      Bon voyage
      Free Time
      Apartment life
