    Invisibility Cloak Findings at Duke University

    A team led by scientists at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering has demonstrated the first working “invisibility cloak.” The cloak deflects microwave beams so they flow around a “hidden” object inside with little distortion, making it appear almost as if nothing were there at all.

    Faculty Members of the Year Announced

    Lynn Universitys Office of Academic Affairs has recognized two members of the College of Arts & Sciences faculty with the 2008-09 Faculty Member of the Year designation Khalique Ahmed and Malcolm Asadoorian.

    Also nominated for this years Faculty Member of the Year award were Anna Krift (international relations) and Jill Levenson (human services) in the College of Arts and Sciences, Ralph Norcio (finance and accounting) in the College of Business and Management, and Valerie Storey (education) in the Ross College of Education.
