Assalamu Alaikum my brothers and sisters, I have received an e-mail from the Nora Risha Foundation at the Arizona State University (ASU) asking for support in a new program they have started in their daughters name. Here it is:

“I would like to ask you to support the endowment education program we have established in our beloved daughters name Nora (ra7emaha Allah) at the Arizona State University (ASU), for all students and knowledge seekers to learn the Arabic language and Islamic studies from authentic sources through dedicated and experienced professors at one of the most renowned and prestigious universities in the US.

Please find three documents attached to this letter from ASU briefly explaining the program and how you can send your gifts. The university requires a total of two-year compensation fund to initially support a qualified professor to develop the curriculum and teach the subjects. The estimated cost is $180,000 (average of $90,000 per year including salary, benefits and course resources). The university had already received gifts from gracious people from within and outside the state and I am sincerely hoping you will be able to help us realize this goal as soon as possible in order to start the program. Please do whatever you can and share with others. And please remember Nora and us in your prayers.
