There is nothing …
There is nothing wrong with just wanting to get your diploma in the office, nothing wrong at all. However, for those who do like the formal ceremony of graduation, perhaps it’s not very fair to say what they do is useless, being they might not feel it’s so useless to Them. You have your way, and they have theirs. It’s all good, no need to say anyway is useless or not. I hope you graduate as well, I been trying for six years, still have yet to do it. Man, life is tough.

When I graduate in …
When I graduate in about a year and a half, if I can afford it, I am not going to do my commencement like this. I am going to pick up my diploma in the office or request that it be sent through the mail. Why should I march down for some community recognition? It seems egotistical and shallow. No one helped me get my grades or edified my life in college. So far, it’s been all work. IDK. Commencements seem so 1950s, and useless.
