You got it locked down if you’ve taken your ACT/SAT

Take a look at their website:
      http://info.gradsch.wisc.edu/education/admissions/requirements.html

I’m not sure if they said that they require you to take the SATs but you should look into that and see their requirements for that.

I think you’re GPA is good enough, but maybe look more into the requirements to make sure you have all the right credits and classes taken. You should be able to find everything on their site.

Good luck! Hope you get in!!

The school you are applying to does not know your financial situation, it is not a factor in acceptance.

Your GPA is not high enough to get into UW Madison. The average high school GPA of admitted students is 3.8. UW Madison is a tier I school, and is nationally ranked at #35. I think other posters are failing to consider this.

Many people go to one of the other state schools for a year or two to raise their GPA and then transfer to Madison.
