  • what are my chances of getting into VCU, Virginia Commonwealth University with a 2.7 and a 1450 sat?

Posted by admin on January 30th, 2010 and filed under university of |

I applied to vcu with a 2.6 gpa and a 2.77 weighted. i am currently a senior in high school waiting for the letter of acceptance or rejection. its been 7 weeks and i still havent heard a thing.

They could be still reviewing your application. You have a good chance of getting in. But know that your essay and what you told them about yourself helps them decide if they want someone like you attending there school. I got wait-listed but then accepted and they didn’t tell me until the middle of the summer after i had already accepted another school so just wait a few more weeks and they should have a letter to you by then, i hope you filled out for other schools for back-ups though….Good Luck and i hope you get in.

a lot of schools have a 3.0 cutoff, although generally theyre the more prestigious ones. if you have a 2.6 and a long list of impressive curriculars and good sats, maybe. a ‘2. anything’ though is just ‘average’ in admissions’ eyes (and literally average; considering its a middle C), so hopefully you applied to a few others just in case
