Why are you flaming … Why are you flaming him?? I felt the same. I did not like the album on first listen, but then I listened to it a few more times and now I think it is one of the best U2 albums right up there with “Achtung Baby” (best one) and “Joshua Tree” (2nd best).
Moment of surrender, Magnificent, No line on the horizon, Fez being born and the list goes on. All magnificent songs.
wen i heard the first single and later the whole cd i was terribly dissapointed, because i couldnt find those incredibly brainsucking hooklines and melodies as in elder records. exception: magnificent. i kicked off my mp3 player and didn`t want to know nothing about NLOTH.
when i decided to give it another chance i listened without high expectations - and i seemed to be listening to something completely different. no line, go crazy, moment of surrender..just great
