      did the title say …
did the title say hard hitting questions, too bad there are no hard hitting answers?

      i know a woman who …
i know a woman who was a drug dealer and also a christian, and for years she was praying she would get caught and imprisoned as it was the only reletively safe way of getting out of it. shes now in jail, and from what i heard, not only studying law, but a very devoted christian

      By what right does …
By what right does God enforce his laws on us?

    5. revelations315 Says:

      People just gave …
People just gave you two thumbs down when you have legitamite questions. All people are criminals according to the Bible and only by repenting(turning from those sins) and trusting in Christ like you would trust your life in a parachute and jumping out of a plane. Just because someone says they are a Christian does not mean they are a Christian. 2nd there’s nothing wrong with doing things that are consensual by mans standard what is wrong is what violates Gods standard. Message me if you want.

      White in noise!!!

    7. SlimD11 Says:

      Yes I suppose …
      Yes I suppose you’re right.

    8. MarxBakuninMe Says:

      Yes. Also, drug …
Yes. Also, drug dealers are not the same as murderers, and drug dealing for the most part is legal (alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, etc.).

    9. xtrashed Says:

      I don’t mean to be …
I don’t mean to be harsh, now this is not to say that prisoners cannot rehabilitate, but lets be honest here, do you really think that murderers, drug dealers etc. go to Church, read the Bible, prior to going to Prison!? I mean c’mon let’s get real here!

    10. xtrashed Says:

      Oddly enough this …
Oddly enough this data is available on Atheist Web Sites. Most of it is presented ripped into shreds and propagandized. You have to find the raw data and it is easy enough to read in the RAW format which is why Atheists have to rip it to shreds and propagandize it instead of just letting the numbers speak for themselves.

    11. MarxBakuninMe Says:

      Source?
      Source?

    12. xtrashed Says:

      Only about 20% of …
Only about 20% of convicted criminals continue belonging to a religious community after their release, about the same percentage as originally declared their religious beliefs prior to incarceration.

    13. xtrashed Says:

      80% of people …
80% of people convicted of felonies have no religious beliefs. After being incarcerated most of these people become religious to obtain goods and services from the various religious organizations that operate in prisons.

Sometimes those goods and services are nothing more than someone to talk to.

After about one year of incarceration the numbers change so that about 80% of convicts declare a religious belief and 20% maintain no religious beliefs.

    14. MarxBakuninMe Says:

      Then why are most …
Then why are most criminals in the United States Christian? And what is wrong with doing things that are entirely consensual?

    15. Acuraintegraman1 Says:

      I was actually …
I was actually talking to slim, i highly appreciated your tone. Its rare to say the least.

    16. manu191357 Says:

      Sorry …
Sorry Acuraintegraman1, but I know what I am talking about.

I am trying to lead a conversation on a basis of mutual respect and I have never commented on you personally or on your abiltities but solely on your arguments.

I also haven’t suggested you into anything as if I were in a superior position.

      So let’s stay reasonable.

    17. Acuraintegraman1 Says:

      Assuming you wisely …
uming you wisely believe there is a God, dont you think through divine providence he would have one selected material of him be circulated more so than others? there are more Bibles sold than any other piece religious documentation, it is translated into more languages than any other text relating to any other deity. All religions are not one this is an extremely fallacious thing to say, and if you actually believe that then you havent looked into the issue at all.

    18. SlimD11 Says:

      Religion is a phase …
Religion is a phase created by a confused social society. Transitioning through these social changes/phases can prove difficult. This is only natural. All religions are one. There is a God but it can not be labeled as such. There is only one fundamental truth. The unvailing will happen soon.

    19. mysanitysgone Says:

      actually one should …
actually one should read the old testimony first & then the second if u like middle eastern theories & cults or schools of thought.

    20. manu191357 Says:

      So your claim is: …
      So your claim is:
‘True’ christians behave better than non-believers. The only thing I can imagine, they behave better is that better obey authorities.

Can you explain ‘true christians’ and how to distinguish them from non-believers.

George Bush confesses himself to be a re-born christian, praying to God every day but still started and conducted a war far off the national borders.

    21. Acuraintegraman1 Says:

      you really dont …
you really dont know what youre talking about, just because sociology lumps Catholics and Christians together doesn’t mean they are the same, i suggest you open your mind a little bit and read the Bible starting with the new testament. It couldn’t hurt and it will help.

    22. Acuraintegraman1 Says:

      The people who …
The people who profess themselves to be Christians that get divorced are not at all Christians, Jesus condemns it read mark10. There were wars in your history, killing in cold blood is different. the crusaders were imposing there point of view, they were not Christ like. Catholics are not Christians, they pray to mother Mary thats idolism, and they read from latin vulgate altered texts as proved by the dead sea scrolls found in 1947 the oldest Bible documents found.

    23. manu191357 Says:

      Fact 5: Modern …
Fact 5: Modern ethics, laws and human rights were developed by the spirit of the enlightment inspite of the influence of the catholic (christian) church.
Fact 5: Morals in moslem countries couldn’t prevent 711.
Fact 6: and so on …

Conclusion: Believers and Non-believers do not really differ in their moral behavior.
Morals (given by any kind of authority) are no guarantee for better behavior.

    24. manu191357 Says:

      Fact 1: Christians …
Fact 1: Christians get divorced by the same rate as non-believers.
Fact 2: Wars are (Bush administration) and were (Crussades, reformation wars) also beeing waged by Christians.
Fact 3: Pedophilia is a significant problem within the catholic (christian) community.
Fact 4: The biblical morals are nothing but a copy of ethics that were developed by societies (China, Mesopotania) about 2000 years before Mose rather than beeing ‘Commandments of God’.

    25. Acuraintegraman1 Says:

      So its okay to …
So its okay to steal, murder, fornicate (pregnancy). The statistics of these things have gone up drastically since the sixties. This is what atheism comes down to, we dont want rules so we walk after our own carnal s. Its a shameful way to live, but i see you are ardent, all i can do is have satisfaction in the end that i tried to encourage you to open your mind a little bit.
