Nothing against … Nothing against rugby, it’s a great sport, but it didn’t take rugby to conceive this strategy. The play is obviously very rugby-esque, but it is actually a fairly common ploy in a desperation situation at the end of a football game; it just usually ends in a big fumble pile-up after a pitch or two. This is probably the greatest example of actually executing it successfully, but there are at least a handful of other examples, some quite famous, in football history. Nothing new - just amazing.

Dont get so defensive ffs, being influenced by something non-American is not a bad thing and as i stated, when one of their players plays International Rugby its more than a little coincedental they try a play like this.
Apparently one of … Apparently one of the their players also plays on the USA Rugby League international team. Thats where they got the idea of the Lateral play with someone always in support of the ball carrier. Its the best way to get around the ‘everyone smash the guy with the ball’ defence.
Riley Curry who … Riley Curry who touched the football four times in this play and scored the winning touchdown is a good friend of mine. He’s a great Christian guy who loves the Lord. GO TIGERS!!
